Whenever someone thinks of Wales they see a countryside overpowered with coal mines. This is a stereotype. The Welsh are proud of their industrial history as it has shaped their culture but Wales has so many more attributes and has scenery that will give most countries a run for their money!
The Welsh countryside is very beautiful and diverse with stunning cities like Cardiff, the beautiful Welsh Valleys and the many sandy beaches scattered along the coast. Who needs Spain when you can have Wales!
The Welsh are also a very proud nation and many speak the native Celtic language known as, surprise surprise, Welsh. The only problem is telling a taxi driver where you are headed as the towns are quite hard to get right for a tourist!
We would recommend a visit to Wales so that you can decide if Wales only has the coal mines to offer!
